II. The Two Current AJDF Programs in Context

A. The One Nation under God Program will support the essential and doable task of refuting many of the lies now established regarding “Separation of Church and State” and other institutionalized falsification of historical fact regarding religion.

Reviving the earnest aspiration to deserve the title of One Nation under God must become the number one objective of this country, because the Government, in its own actions, and the citizenry in its permissive acquiescence to those actions, have proven by our laws and culture that our nation no longer adheres to that most important national principle of considering itself as One Nation under God. A corrective movement has already begun, and the seeds of a general strategy are forming.

As we refute the lies, gradually winning the Cultural War in the public arena, the Government will be permitted to proceed to make some early changes. Soon, perhaps now, the consensus will allow Congress to stop the unconstitutional filibuster control over Supreme Court and Appellate appointments. With that done, we will enable our government to adopt new objectives and policies, eventually passing a set of laws and exercising leadership resulting in re-establishing our founding principles and standards of behavior. Then, and only then, will our basis for security and well-being be restored.

B. The Transform Program is an AJDF Program, proven in practice, and, recommended herein to be adopted in altered form by the U.S. as a Global Transform Program, ultimately to include as many developed nations as would join.

C. The Global Transform Program would be the first international step to introduce in practice the principle of “Love Your Neighbor as You Love Yourself” as a fundamental feature of foreign policy. (See Global Transform Program.)

D. Global Transform is recommended to be adopted by our government as part of the modus operandi of carrying out the policy and commitment of the Millennium Challenge of President George W. Bush. GLOBAL TRANSFORM provides its own proven special advantages in terms of reducing the cost of shipping, increasing efficiency of the aid collection and distribution system, among other things.

E. In context with the George W. Bush program of reducing tyranny and promoting democracy and human rights, it should be notable that those advocacies of his stem not only from political motivations, but also have a moral context. The President emphatically emphasizes the point that governments are not the donors of democracy and human rights—God is the Author and the only authorized source of those rights.

G. Perhaps the fact that GLOBAL TRANSFORM is motivated by the principle of Love Your Neighbor as You Love Yourself, will demonstrate that the US is not just talking the talk but is walking the walk, in adopting a policy of TRANSFORMING the world by undertaking to do its best to share of its plenty to provide the underdeveloped half of the world a fair chance to improve their lot.

H. It also injects into the hostile world of global competition a new spirit that suggests it is in every nations’ enlightened self-interest to participate in a Global Transform Program. In taking the lead in this matter, the U.S. will earn greater credibility than it has ever known. And both Christianity and Democracy will be seen in a better light, even in the eyes of present terrorists and in the eyes of many present day Americans, who will see by our example that what counts with religion and politics is not what we say we believe but is what we do.

I. The ONLY interpersonal behavioral mandate of Christianity is “Love your neighbor as you love yourself”, and neighbor is defined in the Good Samaritan story, which defines “neighbor” as including strangers and even those considered enemies. By adopting “GLOBAL TRANSFORM” we can acknowledge to our Christian and non-Christian neighbors alike, that we regret that we have too much ignored that mandate. But we now pledge that those days are over for us, and we hope over for them as well.

J. We could also acknowledge that recently the U.S. has succumbed to too much immoral behavior and that we are committed to remove the immoral persuasions that exist in much of our culture. We would express hope that our non-Christian neighbors will judge us not by whatever we have done wrong in the past, but will judge us by our firm commitment to correct our past faults, not only by words, but by action exemplified by “GLOBAL TRANSFORM”.
